IZOZENĀ® FLEXPRO LATEX

IZOZENĀ® FLEXPRO LATEX is a high-performance polymer latex admixture designed to enhance the quality of cement-based mortars. It significantly improves adhesion, elasticity, abrasion resistance, and water impermeability, making it suitable for a wide range of construction applications.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Excellent bonding between old and new concrete or mortar.
  • Improves elasticity and flexibility.
  • Increases abrasion and wear resistance.
  • Provides water impermeability and resistance to water pressure.
  • Prevents shrinkage and cracking.
  • Enhances plasticity, water retention, and workability of fresh mixes.
  • Increases chemical and petroleum resistance.
  • Suitable for use in hot and tropical climates.

Technical data

Bonding Bridge
  • Mix Ratio (by volume): Cement : Quartz Sand : Liquid (1 part IZOZENĀ® FLEXPRO LATEX + 1 part Water) = 1 : 1 : 1

  • Mix Ratio (by weight): Cement : Quartz Sand : Liquid (1 part IZOZENĀ® FLEXPRO LATEX + 1 part Water) = 1.5 : 2 : 1

  • Apply slurry with a brush at 1–2 mm thickness on pre-wetted substrate and immediately apply subsequent mortar (wet-on-wet).

Repair Mortars
  • Portland Cement: 50 kg

  • Quartz Sand: 125–150 kg

  • IZOZENĀ® FLEXPRO LATEX: 07–09 L

  • Water: 09–12 L

  • Yield: Approx. 90 L

  • Chloride Ion Content: ≤ 0.1 %

Directions for Use

1. Preparation of Substrate
  • Substrate must be clean, sound, and free of dust, oil, grease, paint, or loose materials.

  • Surface should be dampened before application (avoid water accumulation).

  • Remove rust, scale, and any materials that reduce bonding.

2. Application
  • Add IZOZENĀ® FLEXPRO LATEX to the mixing water of mortars.

  • Mixing ratio of latex to water: 1:1 up to 1:5, depending on technical requirements.

Always pour the latex-water solution first into the mixer, followed by cement and aggregates to avoid lumps.

Fields of Application

  • Bonding layers between old and new concrete.
  • Repair mortars and thin layers.
  • Wear-resistant, dust-proof floor screeds.
  • Waterproof cement mortars.
  • High-strength and water-impermeable plasters.
  • Chemical and petroleum-resistant mortars.
  • Grouting mortars for natural stones.
  • Grooves at wall-floor junctions.
  • Patch repair mortars.
  • Tile adhesives.
