Directions for Use

IZOZENĀ® FLEXPRO DURACRETE can be used for cosmetic or structural repair of deteriorated concrete and mortar on exterior or interior, horizontal and vertical applications.

Steps:

  1. Pre-Treatment

    • Ensure the substrate is clean, free of oil, grease, dust, and loose material.

    • Plug water leaks using IZOZENĀ® FLEXPRO FASTFIX-100.

    • Prepare the surface by water-jet washing or blast cleaning.

    • In hot climates, pre-dampen the surface (Saturated Surface Dry condition), but avoid standing water.

  2. Bonding Agent

    • Apply a bonding agent such as IZOZENĀ® IZOBOND EP for better adhesion, especially on dense concrete or large areas.

  3. Mixing

    • Mix a 25 kg bag with the recommended amount of cold water in a clean bucket.

    • Use an electric blender (max 500 rpm) with a spiral mixer.

    • Add powder slowly while mixing for at least 3 minutes until homogeneous and creamy.

    • Do not mix at higher speeds to avoid strength reduction.

  4. Application

    • Apply while the bonding agent is still wet.

    • Use a spatula or trowel.

    • For thickness over 30 mm, apply in multiple layers.

    • Smooth with a wooden or synthetic float once setting begins.

    • For fine finishing, use IZOZENĀ® FLEXPRO DURACRETE F or IZOZENĀ® FLEXPRO STUCCO.
